Join us in welcoming artists and guests to your monthly art event on the Art of Life project. The festival begins on the 20th April, ending April 30, 2017 (with a five-day trip to Europe for the next two weeks) and will last until March 4, 2017. With over 130 participating galleries, festivals, and public spaces, we’ve been working closely with the Creative Artists Council (CEC) for each of the year. Throughout this year, we’ve been in touch with art world leaders who are engaged in diverse ways, as noted above. Each of these influencers has had their share of creative initiatives such as the World Literacy Month, one from The Sideshow Museum, and some from the National Gallery of Art, which draws on their own creativity for a variety of fun collaborations.

Every artist, every art group, every trade association, each with their own goal has created a canvas of amazing works that can be shared, and, over time, you will do more to inspire and enrich this space to enrich our world. As you and I explore the many possibilities of this year’s exhibition, first-time visitors want to share a collection with them as a way to put their art into place – a truly collaborative undertaking here at the Art of Life project. Each will find their works found, a canvas made. As is my practice, while I can usually draw and draw very close to my creative peers and make them feel happy and productive, it is our responsibility to ensure that each collaborator’s works may not be presented within the margins of the museum’s exhibition space. So, as this year’s event shines clearly into the world of the Art of Life, we can expect to see as much of the same art as across the nation, region, and globe.
